Green services specialist, Glendale, has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
The company joins over 210 major UK businesses who currently hold the accreditation.
Safecontractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises high standards in health and safety management in UK organisations.
Under the Safecontractor scheme, Glendale underwent a vetting process which examined the company’s health and safety procedures and track record for safe practice.
Keith Hepplewhite, director of health and safety and compliance at Glendale, said: “The accreditation is an effective way of demonstrating to prospective customers that we take our commitment to health and safety seriously. It recognises the uniform standard of health and safety management across the business and ensures that we are up to date with the latest industry standards.”
Having successfully met the high standard required, Glendale is now included on a database used by registered client-organisations to evaluate potential service providers based upon the status of their accreditation.
Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency in health and safety.
