National green services company Glendale has secured a contract to provide services for one of the largest secondary schools in the Midlands.
Work will begin at West Park School, a specialist mathematics and computing academy in Spondon, in January 2015.
The company will deliver and manage a range of grounds maintenance services during a 12-month contract, which has the possibility to be extended.
The school is the largest in the Derbyshire area in terms of pupil numbers, with approximately 1200 students.
Andy Trott, contract manager at Glendale Nottingham, said: “Securing a contract for the largest secondary school in the area provides a real boost to our portfolio and a good springboard for expansion in the future.
“Our team will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the spaces are maintained to the usual high quality of Glendale.”
Glendale delivers services elsewhere in the area through its partnership with the Nottingham NHS Trusts.
The company, which is the largest green spaces provider in the UK, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2015 when the West Park contract will be underway.
