New regional health and safety advisor announced for the north

Simon Smith, regional manager at green space management specialist, Glendale, has been appointed to the position of regional health and safety advisor for the north region.

As regional health and safety advisor, Simon will support Glendale’s contracts in the north of the country in meeting their health and safety commitments and objectives.  He has already undertaken Safety Action Plan audits across the region.

Simon joined Glendale in autumn 2016 and is responsible for managing a range of grounds, landscaping and arboricultural contracts from the Warrington office.

David Charnock, head of QHSE and compliance, said: “I would like to thank Simon for accepting this role.  Our regional health and safety advisors have a pivotal role to play in supporting the business by providing health and safety advice, and ensuring compliance with our health and safety policies and procedures at each contract within their respective regions.”
