Vicky Ebbrell began working as a sales administrator with countryside management specialist Silvanus Services Limited in 2006. She joined Glendale in 2007 when the organisation acquired Silvanus.
Her main responsibility was providing administrative support to the landscape estimator.
In 2009 she was promoted to the position of landscape supervisor and achieved a number of formal qualifications through Bicton College, including a Level 2 diploma in Work Based Horticulture and a Level 2 independent assessment in Horticulture.
Vicky also holds a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card qualification and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
She says: “The most enjoyable part of my role as landscape manager is interacting with customers and managing our client’s expectations of Glendale. My role is very varied and involves quality control, resource allocation and budgeting, negotiating rates, project planning, health and safety compliance and human resource management.”
Vicky is currently completing Glendale’s internal management development programme, gaining skills that will support her in her current role. She hopes to continue progressing her career with Glendale and would like to advance to a contract management position.
