Today we are joined by one of Glendale’s longest-serving employees to talk about how he got into arboriculture and his responsibilities as an arborist with Glendale.
Peter joined Glendale in 2004 as an arborist and has worked in the green services industry for over 18-years.
Prior to joining Glendale, Peter worked in amenity horticulture for five years as a groundsman and a driver responsible for clearing bridleways and watercourses and grass cutting.
As an arborist with Glendale Peter undertakes all aspects of arboriculture including re-shapes, lifting, thinning and felling.
Whilst working for Glendale Peter has achieved all of his NPTC qualifications and relevant machinery tickets. He is currently exploring the option of undertaking an NVQ level 3 in Arboriculture.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys listening to live music and participating in a variety of sports such as swimming, cycling and football.
