Green services company Glendale has appointed Keith Hepplewhite as director of health and safety and compliance.
In a new role for the national provider, Keith will ensure the company meets legislative requirements while overseeing the welfare of employees at Glendale’s bases across the UK.
He joined the company in 2009 as head of business development, before becoming the regional director for the midlands and the north, with responsibility for regional operational and financial performance.
Andy Corcoran, Glendale’s managing director, said: “Glendale is committed to achieving the highest standards in health and safety and compliance, and we have comprehensive systems in place which help to manage and reduce risks, protecting the company and our staff. Keith’s enthusiasm and determination will support and help to maintain our excellent health and safety record.”
Keith holds a distinction certificate in National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and is currently studying for the diploma, as well as chairing Glendale’s national health and safety group.
Keith said: “I’ve always been passionate about health and safety and I’m prepared for the challenges involved in this new role, including working towards achieving Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) accreditation, which is a real mark of efficiency and reduced risk.
“One of my first goals will be to help make all staff aware of the importance of health and safety, and continue to keep the workplace a safe place to be for all employees.”
