National green service provider Glendale has promoted Shereen Marlow to the position of contract manager.
In her new role, Shereen will oversee the company’s contract to deliver grounds maintenance services in the London Borough of Enfield on behalf of Enfield Council.
Shereen joined Glendale in 2014 as administrator for Glendale’s contract with school improvement services Babcock 4S, providing grounds maintenance services to schools across Surrey.
She was promoted to contract supervisor within one year, before achieving promotion to contract manager, and is currently working towards obtaining the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.
Shereen said: “I enjoyed my supervisor role but felt ready to progress to the next stage in my career, and I’m well prepared for the new challenges I may face due to the training opportunities I’ve been provided with by Glendale.
“I’m looking forward to helping to strengthen the south east region and continuing the excellent work already being done in the area.”
Nick Brooks, assistant regional director for the south east at Glendale, said: “Shereen has proven to be a dedicated and passionate member of the Glendale team, and is well equipped to ensure the work carried out across Enfield will support our commitment to protecting the environment and enhancing outdoor spaces for people to enjoy.”
