Glendale has helped its client, Waverley Borough Council, retain South East in Bloom awards for another year.
Gostrey Meadow and Phillips Memorial in Godalming all received Gold awards. Gostrey Meadow got its first Gold in 2014 and was awarded Silver Gilt in 2013 and 2012. Phillips Memorial was entered into the awards for the first time in 2014 and received Gold.
In addition to these great results grounds maintenance operative, Nick Gibbs was given a special achievement award for the work he carries out at Gostrey Meadow.
Paul Ford, contract manager for Glendale in Waverley, said: “We are delighted to win Gold for the second year running. I believe this shows a strong contractor/client working relationship. It’s pleasing to see Nick Gibbs rewarded for his hard work and dedication over the past few years, particularly in this, our 25th anniversary year. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Glendale team in Waverley for their hard work supporting the two park keepers, Nick Gibbs and Robert Pelham.”
