Glendale construct new car parking areas at Christ the King School

In March 2014 Glendale Nottingham was contracted to create a car park extension and introduce a one-way system at Christ the King Academy in Arnold, Nottingham.

The extension was much needed in order to accommodate staff, visitors and parents who were forced to park outside the school entrance.

The project took three weeks to complete with Glendale undertaking excavation works and bringing in additional sub-base stone to build the initial foundations.  This was then overlaid with two courses of tarmac and completed with road markings including one-way arrows and 15 new bays.

The project was such a success that the team have been called in again for the second phase of works at the school.
