Glendale Awarded ESPO Framework Contract

In 2020, green services provider Glendale have been awarded a place on the ESPO framework.

The national framework is for the provision of grounds maintenance services, covering 9 English regions as well as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The services include grass cutting, soft landscaping, hard landscaping, weed control, pitch marking and arboriculture services.

The length of the framework is two years starting 1st January 2021 and finishing 31st December 2022. There is also an option for the framework to be extended by a further two years.

Glendale has been selected as first placement on each of the three lots. The lots are; Lot 1: Grounds Maintenance Services – the provision of grounds maintenance services. Lot 2: Arboriculture Services – the provision of arboriculture services. Lot 3: Arboriculture services (Leicestershire County Council).

ESPO is a trading department of Leicestershire County Council. It is a non-profit making body jointly owned and operated by six local authorities. ESPO’s key objective is to help its member authorities achieve optimum value for money when buying goods and services.

The ESPO member authorities are Cambridgeshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council and Warwickshire County Council.
