Glendale’s commercial department controls an annual spend in excess of £15 million and is recruiting a purchasing manager to join this professional and passionate team. The position will report directly to the commercial director and cover a wide variety of areas including national supply contracts, capital expenditure, fleet management, property and insurance. This is an interesting and varied role, working within a key support service for the business.
The department is seeking a commercially minded applicant, of graduate or similar calibre, ideally with, or working towards, full CIPS membership.
The applicant will be a proactive business manager, with experience of supplier contract negotiation, selection and management. Experience in some or all of the other areas listed above is desirable but not essential as internal training will be provided.
