GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

NW Estates – Wesham Depot 

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

Glendale Managed Services carries out a wide range of grounds maintenance, environmental and countryside management contracts throughout the North West area and require a member of staff to join our GM team. Services offered at this office include grounds maintenance, woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects.

The Opportunity

• Fixed Term contract with the opportunity to build and develop a career over the longer term as we are keen to build team resilience.
• Good opportunities for overtime earnings.

The Person

• Proactive member of staff with a passion for grounds maintenance, outdoor working, countryside  and the environment
• The candidate will have good organisational and interpersonal skills: be able to deal with clients and the public and work in a team
• Be able to work to undertake duties with  minimum of supervision
• The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge and skills in grounds maintenance, including pedestrian and ride-on grass cutting 
• Nature of work requires the candidate to hold a full UK driving licence is essential, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
